The Signing Ceremony of the Contract Document and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) and the handing over of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) of Ministry of Home Affairs Malaysia was held on 22nd of October 2015 at Perdana Lounge, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur at 3.00 pm and was officiated by The Right Hon. DatoÔÇÖ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.

There were eight (8) Contract Documents, one (1) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and two (2) LoAs worth RM535.7 million were signed. This figure is encouraging since this is the first time such an event was held in GPEC Asia.

Among the attractions to this event includes the supply of two (2) units of Agusta Westland AW139 helicopters which were scheduled to be delivered to the Royal Malaysia Police Air Operation Force in August and September 2016 respectively. In line with the modernization of the Royal Malaysia Police, eight (8) units of IAG JAWS Armour Personnel Carrier (APC) will also be delivered towards the end this year.
