1. Prepare proposal papers aim at enhancing the implementation of policies in the Malaysian Prison Department, National Anti-Drugs Agency and Malaysian Volunteer Corps Department for KDN’s higher management’s perusal, within 14 days after receiving suggestions or complaints.

2. Prepare policy papers with regards to the drafting of new laws and amendment of laws related to prisons, anti-drugs and RELA for KDN’s higher management’s perusal within 14 days.

3. Prepare oral and non-oral Parliamentary answers related to prisons, anti-drugs and RELA within 7 days after receiving inputs from Departments/Agencies.

4. Prepare Cabinet memorandums related to prisons, anti-drugs and RELA within 14 days after receiving inputs from Departments/Agencies.

5. Prepare Cabinet notes related to prisons, anti-drugs and RELA within 14 days after completion of program or after receiving inputs from Departments/Agencies.

6. Prepare Division’s feedback on policy matters related to prisons, anti-drugs and RELA when requested from various governmental agencies or the public within 7 days.

7. Prepare Divison’s views and comments on Cabinet memorandums from other Ministries within 7 days.

8. Obtain approvals for the election of Board of Visitors in Prisons, Henry Gurney Schools, Moral Rehabilitation Centers and Drug Rehabilitation Centers within 3 months.
